I seem to play a lot of games that have never (after >20 years) been played before!

Can we just post Elo games above 2000?  At least make it a challenge instead of a boring exercise.

First won, first played, first loss. Where does it end? Wins don't mean anything beyond extending a streak. You got to get real about what wins are worth noting.

Tony, it has been REPEATEDLY pointed out (to you, specifically) that there are hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of games on this site that haven't been played.  You're just not paying attention.  

My goal for this thread is to inspire other players to play as many of the unplayed games as possible before I die...

"Equal opportunity" implies that ALL games have the right to be played at least once.

I think that more games have an 'Elo', than have been played...

Translation:  "My goal is to get my elo as high as possible, however I can do it."

Since there 12 thousand remaining games, let's rejoice. That means this thread will be around for a while.  While some hold the view, treat them like an endangered species and they need to be protected, others hold the view they need to be eliminated. Some also hold the view virgin games as something special, I've had thousands and believe me they are not special. If you don't believe me try any of these.

Those are all rated unwinnable.  However, we know that sometimes a solver can be wrong.  Thus, if you lose one, no Elo points are taken away.  But, if you win one, you will get a lot of points, maybe seven.

I would suggest to TT and E to try each and every one.  Nothing to lose, everything to gain.

Oh, I forgot, you can't pick your games.  That would be cheating. Well, actually, that horse has left the barn.  But, boy, if you could, we would have two of the greatest Elo players ever.

If pointing out that cluttering the discussion board with self-serving meaningless posts about how one solves a 1500 Elo just because it has never been played before is trolling, then guilty.

But your posts don't annoy me.  I enjoy reading them.  They actually are some of the more entertaining comments posted to this discussion board.  Your insights and concise comments provide a wealth of instruction on any topic you venture into.

Maybe if firenze and TitanicTonys_newdeckofcards  can go back and edit their posts so that we don't have to page past so many useless pages of stuff, maybe explain how to get that info from the stats pages, and respect the initiator of this thread, then maybe there would be less off a problem
