cellmate, your (f) is isn’t really a choice; it is well understood and the foundation for (a), (b), and (c). Stating as you did, however, implies either (b) or (c).
I know you think this is a broken record, and that is why you keep repeating that playing with cards is not against the rules. Those of us who come back to this discussion simply prefer that everyone play by the same set of guidelines.
So, sure — for those who play with cards, fine. But be honest about it. If you lose the game using cards or are forced to take back one or more moves, then accept the loss. Don’t count it as a win that adds to your Elo or extends your streak. There is no question that such actions drip with dishonesty.
Buzz, (f) doesn't imply anything other than what it states
"same set of guidelines"
Whose guidelines?
Sounds more like the "undo" issue. The player doesn't support undo. full stop. Some might extrapolate that to "undo", even in your head, is not allowed
You and I are arguing completely different points, I think.
I really thought I understood your points and that we simply disagree about execution. Come to realize I have no idea what point you are attempting to make. At all.
Don’t bother to explain. I have lost interest.
One should never lose interest in being educated.
Buzz, I'll explain any way... simple... "rules that exist" vs "rules that don't exist"
I'm sure this'll be wasted cyberspace, but I'll go for it one. more. time.
And I've repeated this over and over and over. Ok - so there's no specific rule against *cheating* by using cards, solvers, whatever SirPape uses, whatever outskirts uses that she'll never tell, magic wands, magic potions, or magic mushrooms. Because it couldn't be enforced - solely. But rather than formally cheating the *game*, one is most definitely cheating the other players who choose to play fairly, without aids. I'm baffled that you can't see and accept that. It's a selfish act. This must be at least 5 times I've laid it out for you.
