This game 4x9 22412 5 (Masters 5/4/25) can go into any or all of the above threads.
To simplify I have put it in this amalgamated thread.
Please tell me that ITGD does not stand for "Is There a GoD?" That would be some bad business (and a poor acronym).
ITGD stands for ' Is this game difficult' and there is a thread with that caption 😣
You've been gone too long, The_Revelator. Many are the times your 'insight' has been needed since your last visit. I've been able to pick up bits and pieces of the slack, but far from all of it.
Thanks for the kind words, Brother Kumquat. My efforts have been required elsewhere -- many of the once faithful have strayed from the flock.
Here, a bit of a climate shift made preaching the word a bit difficult. I've never been one for gentle parenting, preferring a fiery speech of brimstone and eternal damnation.
Not too hard. Three attempts just under 7 minutes to get it but could have been two attempts and 4 minutes if I hadn't thrown a card onto the ace pile when there was plenty of time to do it later - if needed. That seems to be one of the biggest mistakes I am prone to making
The_Revelator appears not to exist: maybe god will have to invent them.
None of those games are appealing to me. It would take me ages and more mental energy than I'm willing to expend.
"The_Revelator appears not to exist: maybe god will have to invent them."
This is what I'm talking about, Brother K. A lack of faith wrapped in sarcasm with a nod to the creator -- as if that helps.
Perhaps an eternity of burning sulfur will be enough time for them to figure it all out.
Fascinating.
Although Woland and I appear to be on a parallel track, I fear that he answers to different authority.
No, no sarcasm: I found no stats for The_Revelator's presence on the site. So I was expressing puzzlement, really. god is not the creator, by the way: that would be God. One can get inured to sulphur.
The_Revelator has had a "presence" on this site for quite a long time. His role here, similar but not identical to my own, is not to play these silly little games..............but to spread truth and enlightenment ('enriched' with a goodly portion of fear). However.........whereas I prefer the carrot approach..........he seems to be more fond of the "stick"🔥, as it were.
Ah, trolling in other words. Well, as most of us here do play these silly little games, you both have a lot of work to do - or, alternatively, to seek a more appropriate place to operate. My granddaughter's dog adores carrots, incidentally. Takes all sorts.
That's a pretty loose definition of "trolling", nug. Common to every definition of internet troll that I can find includes "intentional disruption." There are those who are so thin-skinned that they take offense at everything; for those types (and they exist here), nearly everyone who expresses an opinion is a troll. Most of us are not like that.
We have had our share of trolls here, so we know one when we see one.
One of the differences between KoC and The_Revelator is that KoC generally has a target and a point to make. The_Revelator has a target but launches off into a fiery rant pretty much about nothing at all. I recall him scolding Denny for asking about a potential change to the board, playing his normal "eternal damnation" card.
As far as "existence," I'm not sure that a presence on the freecell scoring records is a good measure. Uncle_Vito has such a tally, but I doubt we'll find him on file at the DMV, voting records, or the FBI.
BuzzClik, dissing freecell on a discussion page inhabited primarily by freecell players seems to me to tick the relevant boxes.
As I lurk a lot more than I speak, I follow your reasoning; but I do differ from you slightly.
It wasn't my fault. How was I to know that wasn't Kash Patel who asked me to arrange delivery of ten dead black cats to Robert Kennedy, Jr's office.
Get back to your 7x5s, Uncle_Vito. You're distracting me from the Conclave. Paint is drying there.
Be careful. I was talking to the Holy Ghost this morning and he hinted that I should buy a ticket to Rome.
#6x5 19828 10 figured in the latest Spelunker. 52/1 now.
Point is not this game being solved; sooner or later Dr.Bombay will solve it and certify it being not tough.
Message posted to bring the thread back to its main intent.
