I do not see how that follows my "thesis", which was that 13x0 games are either easy or unwinnable, but, if solvable, (almost) never difficult, which makes playing that variant a lot like a lottery.

In my opinion winnability (=the percentage of winnable games in a variant) and difficulty (the complexity of a solution) are two different things.

And by the way, it is a popular belief, but in my view a misconception, that all 13-sum games (or in general all N-sum games) are equal and/or comparable. Difficulty and winnability of a 9x4-10 cannot be compared that easily to a 13x0-10.
